Oat Kernel Extract
What is it?
Oat kernel extract is a distilled liquid produced from oat kernels.
What does it do?
Used for its natural moisturizing and soothing properties, formula with oat kernel extract also eases baby and adult skin conditions like eczema.
Oat Kernel Flour
What is it?
Oat kernel flour is a powder produced by the fine grinding of oats.
What does it do?
Along with other ingredients, oat kernel flour is a protectant that locks in moisture and soothes while helping prevent dry skin.
Glycerin
What is it?
Found in numerous household products, from soaps to toothpaste, glycerin is a naturally occurring, vegetable-derived moisturizer.
What does it do?
Products with glycerin keeps baby’s skin hydrated by helping maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Mineral Oil
What is it?
Mineral oil is an extremely gentle skin conditioner.
What does it do?
Formula with mineral oil helps protect the skin barrier from moisture loss. It’s also used as the primary ingredient in baby oil.
Sodium Benzoate
What is it?
Sodium benzoate is a common preservative that helps keep products fresh and safe to use.
What does it do?
Sodium benzoate in a formula, extends the shelf-life of many personal care and food products including baby washes, toothpaste, mouthwash and foods like salad dressings and jams.
Acrylates
What is it?
Acrylates/C10-C30 are molecular compounds used in many lotions, washes and toothpastes.
What does it do?
Acrylates thicken and stabilize skin-care products to make them easier to use when bathing your baby. The compounds we use are safe and hypoallergenic.
Coco-Glucoside
What is it?
Coco-Glucoside is a mild, non-stripping cleanser derived from coconut that is gentle on your baby’s delicate skin..
What does it do?
Coco-Glucoside helps glycerin deposit on skin and can be found in all sorts of soaps and washes.
Polyquaternium-7
What is it?
A conditioning agent found in many shampoos and conditioners, polyquaternium-7 also hydrates the skin.
What does it do?
This hypoallergenic compound helps to condition and moisturize baby skin and hair.
Guar Gum Derivative
What is it?
Guar gum derivative is a natural thickener derived from the guar bean, which grows primarily in India and Pakistan. Guar beans are a common vegetable consumed in both countries.
What does it do?
Guar gum derivative helps thicken bath products, hair conditioners and skin-care products, and simultaneously provides moisture benefits to skin.
Dimethicone
What is it?
Dimethicone is a type of silicone that acts as a skin conditioner and protectant in many lotions.
What does it do?
Dimethicone is used as a skin-conditioning agent in the product that protects the skin barrier from moisture loss by forming a natural seal that keeps hydrating ingredients locked in.
Cetyl Alcohol
What is it?
A solid alcohol compound that is derived from palm oil and is used in many personal care products.
What does it do?
Cetyl alcohol is used to help thicken products, increase foam in cleansing products and prevent separation of other ingredients.
Isopropyl Palmitate
What is it?
Isopropyl palmitate, a common ingredient in body creams and other personal care products, is a colorless liquid derived from coconut oil.
What does it do?
